For how long can PADMA 28 be taken?
PADMA 28 can be taken daily for several months.

When can I expect an improvement?
There is no general answer to this question. The onset of action depends on the state of health and the constitution of the individual.
Some people already notice improvement in their well being after taking the product for two weeks, while others have experienced an improvement in their ability to walk after one to two months. After three months, at the latest, there should be a clearly noticeable improvement. The best results are achieved when PADMA 28 is taken regularly.

What are the possible side effects of PADMA 28?
Gastrointestinal disorders and cutaneous reactions or itching may very rarely occur. Isolated cases of palpitations and slight restlessness have been observed in predisposed individuals. If gastrointestinal symptoms appear, the capsules may be taken at mealtimes, with ample fluid (preferably boiled, lukewarm water). The dosage may possibly have to be reduced. If the capsules have been prescribed for you by your doctor, any adjustment of the dosage should be discussed with him/her.

Can PADMA 28 be taken together with other medicines?
Up till now, no interactions with other simultaneously taken medication are known. As a precautionary measure allow an interval of one-and-a-half to two hours between taking PADMA 28 and other medication.

May I take PADMA DIGESTIN and PADMA 28 at the same?
PADMA DIGESTIN is a formula with a very warming effect, while PADMA 28 has a cooling  effect. It is therefore recommended not to take these two products at the same time. For an optimal effect, an interval of 1 to 2 hours between ingestion of the two drugs and the following treatment regimen are therefore recommended:

PADMA 28:  Ingestion at any time of the day (e.g. in a dosage of 2x3 capsules);
in combination with PADMA DIGESTION: PADMA 28 should be taken after meals or 1 to 2 hours after taking PADMA DIGESTIN.
PADMA DIGESTIN:  Ideally, the main time for ingestion is in the moning, on an empty stomach, possibly with an additional dose in the evening.

As according to Tibetan medicine the digestive heat is greatest at midday, in long-term therapy PADMA DIGESTIN should not be taken at this time of day. In the event of acute symptoms requiring immediate treatment ingestion at any time day is naturally recommended.

Is PADMA 28 also suitable for diabetics?
Yes, PADMA 28 is also suitable for diabetics. One capsule provides about 0.05 g of usable carbohydrates.

May PADMA 28 be given to children?
Children don’t suffer from circulatory disorders. For this reason, the use and safety of PADMA 28 has not been studied in children and youths in this indication and PADMA 28 is not intended for this age group.
