Healthy circulation: the key to our health

We cannot emphasise too much on the importance of a good circulation to maintain the balance in our body. Circulation is the basis of our good health.

The blood transports nutrients and oxygen troughout the body while it carries away the waste products the body produces. The arteries, which are the transport pathways, are fragile structures. They supply every corner of our body and branch into ever finer vessels called capillaries. The heart pumps 7000litres of blood, through several kilometres of blood vessels, every day. If this circulation fails, the organ that cannot receive anymore blood, due to the circulatory failures, will stop functioning. This leads to massive impairment to the patient's quality of life.

The heart and arteries have to be taken care of as good as possible to let you have a long an healthy life.
